Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT GLENN STEWART Suddenly and unexpectedly, Robert Glenn Stewart, aged 48, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2002. He was predeceased by his parents, Doreen in 1989 and Don in 2000. Robert is survived by his sister Lorna (Jason) Auntie Val (Clive) Bowen and family of Ottawa; cousins Dana, Brent and Sandra Stewart, Donna, Pat, Ed, Lauri, Marcy and their families; Godson Adam and special friends Don, Loretta and girlfriend Tess. Robert was employed at the MLCC for 28 years. He started in 1974 as a store clerk and moved to purchasing in 1987. His final position with the MLCC was Traffic Manager and was highly regarded in his field. Over the years he completed ongoing education to earn an Advanced Business Administration Degree, C.I.T.T. and his TLOG which gave him the designation of Professional Logistician. Rob also received his certificate in Transportation from the University of Manitoba. He was a member of the Free Masons and Scottish Rite. Rob loved animals, travelling and enjoyed hockey and the Blue Bombers. He enjoyed spending time at the lake with friends and family. He had a gentle nature and never had an unkind word about anyone. Thanks to Unit 3, Dr. Suss and the emergency staff of the Victoria Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. Wollner for his years of care. In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter, 3062 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3K 0Y1. Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 18 at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are asked to gather at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., before proceeding to graveside. A reception will follow in the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home.
